The Wishard Foundation, established in 1985 as a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit corporation, creates relationships with donors, raises funds, engages volunteers and manages resources so that Wishard Health Services may improve the quality of life for patients regardless of their ability to pay.

Foundation Goals
The Wishard Foundation goals are to:
- Strengthen external relationships in the community benefiting the Wishard mission
- Align all fundraising efforts with the mission of Wishard
- Promote awareness of Wishard programs and services
The Annual Fund supports the continuation and growth of the Wishard Foundation by providing ongoing operating support, allowing staff and volunteers to work with programs that support Wishard’s philosophy of exceptional care, regardless of an individual’s ability to pay.
