Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP), sponsored in collaboration with the Indiana State Department of Insurance and Wishard Health Services, gives free qualified, objective counseling and assistance to senior citizens who have concerns with or questions about their health insurance. SHIIP representatives are available to answer questions about various benefit and coverage packages including Medicare, Medicare supplement (also called Medigap) insurance, Medicaid and long-term care insurance.
