State-of-the-art detoxification for both alcohol and drugs is available on an outpatient basis, allowing participants to remain outside the costly inpatient hospital setting while medically managing withdrawal symptoms. Linkage to further treatment is coordinated during the detox process. Education, supportive groups and individual counseling are available at the 3171 N. Meridian St. location as part of the more extensive addictions treatment program.
Midtown is a community treatment provider in the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) Clinical Trials Network. This national network of research and training centers and community treatment programs select and test the newest interventions in professional addiction treatment. Persons suffering from addiction are offered the opportunity to participate in studies by receiving care proven to be effective by some of the nation’s leading scientists in addiction research.
