Description: Wishard is seeking a Referral Coordinator for our high volume and fast-paced Special Medicine Clinics. The Referral Coordinator serves as clerical support for the clinical functions of the clinic by making appts., scheduling referrals, providing follow up, etc. This position would work well for someone with a Unit Coordinator or Ward Secretary background. Full time, Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30 pm COMPUTER SKILLS A MUST!! Excellent customer service skills required!! BILINGUAL IN SPANISH A PLUS!!

He/She will assist patients from the waiting room to exam rooms and take vital signs and document on the patient\\\'s chart. This person will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate assigned patient care, perform scheduling, coordinate hospital admissions, take medical histories, prepare and administer medications, assist during exams and procedures, and educate patients and their families.
