Wishard has a long tradition of providing exceptional service and special focus on the health and well-being of older adults. The Extended Care Service is a part of this tradition.
In the Extended Care program, the team of doctors and nurse practitioners from IU Medical Group provide ongoing care to patients in need of rehabilitation services or long-term care in a nursing home. This allows the patient to maintain continuity with his or her IU Medical Group doctors and Wishard's Senior Care program.
