Application Process

Make a difference in someone's life by becoming a volunteer at Wishard Health Services today. Print, fill out and send in the volunteer application to begin making your mark in the community. The volunteer application process ensures your safety, as well as the safety of our patients, clients and staff. When Wishard receives your application, you will be contacted to set up an informational interview. Wishard will also complete a criminal history screening. Next, applicants undergo health screening mandated by the State Board of Health. It includes a tuberculosis skin test and verification of immunizations against measles, mumps, rubella and chicken pox. Finally, you will complete a one-hour general hospital orientation. The application process takes approximately one week.
