Wishard Health Services Announces New VP of Clinical and Business Integration

Wishard Health Services announces that Isaac Jordan Myers II, M.D., has been appointed to the position of Vice President of Clinical and Business Integration.  Dr. Myers previously served as President for Dynamic Business and Medical Systems (DBMS) Health Services and Chief Operating Officer for DBMS Inc.

“Dr. Myers brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this role that positions him to make an enormous contribution here at Wishard,” said Dr. Lisa E. Harris, Chief Executive Officer and Medical Director for Wishard Health Services.  “We’re delighted to welcome him to our team.”

During Dr. Myers time at DBMS, he was responsible for all aspects of business management and development, including sales, finance, negotiations, contracting, team building and client and customer relations.  In addition he helped DBMS develop a wellness program, return business to positive revenue through growth and operational efficiencies and designed and helped implement an online personal health record product.

Prior to his work at DBMS, Dr. Myers served as chief operating officer and senior vice president at MindGent HealthCare Clinics where he was responsible for coordinating operating business units and providing directions and planning for MindGent’s clinics.  From 1998 to 2006 Dr. Myers served as vice president of medical affairs at Advantage Health Solutions in Indianapolis. 

At Advantage he was responsible for provider relations, contracting, data analysis, quality, medical and pharmacy management.  During this time he also became actively involved in several Indiana coalitions and forums and worked on several key health initiatives with the State of Indiana.

Dr. Myers is a 1991 graduate of the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit and received his baccalaureate degree from Hope College in Holland, Michigan.  He completed his internship and residency in Family Practice at Indiana University School of Medicine.  In addition, Dr. Myers completed the Physician Leadership Program at Xavier University in Cincinnati and is pursuing his MBA at Butler University.  He is board certified in Risk Management, Managed Care, Quality and Utilization Review. 

After completing his medical education, Dr. Myers held a private practice in Springfield, Ohio where he also served as Medical Director of the Springfield Community Hospital Physician Health Network and the Community Health Department.  He is a native of New York City.

In addition, Dr. Myers is professionally involved in a number of affiliate organizations including Health Care Excel, the National Managed Health Care Congress, the Health Care Coalition of Indiana and InnerCityMedicine Networks in New York.
